　都留文科大学で過ごした4年間は、己の人生に於ける重要な出会いに溢れていました。　もともと日本近代文学に興味を持って入学した私でしたが、種々の授業を受けて行く中で恩師の授業と出会い、ゼミを決めました。漢文学に関心はあれど、研究対象にするようになるとは、高校時代の私からは想像もつかないことでした。　また、部活動やアルバイトを通じて沢山の仲間と出会いました。気の合う者もそうでない者もいて、多寡はあれどもその皆から、それぞれのものの見方を教えてもらいました。己ひとりの尺度で物事を測らないこと、相手の考えを尊重することの重要性を叩き込まれ、人間的に非常に成長できたと思っています。　『三国志』の注の中に、「士別れて三日、即ち更に刮目して相待すべし」という言葉が引用されています。この言葉どおり、次に都留の皆様と出会えた日にはより成長した姿をお見せできるよう、努力を忘れずに日々邁進していく所存です。　最後になりましたが、お世話になった先生方、共に過ごしてくれた友人たち、学生生活を支えてくださった大学の方々、地域の方々に、心から感謝申し上げ、旅立ちの辞といたします。国文学科　宇田　深月様々な出会いゼミ合宿にて、恩師と仲間たち旅立つことばIt is an honor to write this farewell message on behalf of the Department of English. Congratulations to you all! Take a moment to appreciate all the hard work you’ve done over the past four years—you truly deserve this accomplishment. I would also like to extend my gratitude to the families the teachers, and the friends who supported us.Looking back on my time at Tsuru University, one of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is the importance of building meaningful connections with others. Many of us entered this university in 2021, facing the uncertainty of being the rst group to take the new entrance exam style and navigating the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was an anxious time for many of us. Yet, despite the restrictions in 2021, we were fortunate to have many face-to-face classes, allowing us to embark on this university journey alongside new friends. Over the years, through lectures, club activities, and part-time jobs, we’ve grown with the support of those around us.On a personal note, my time at university allowed me to develop a deep passion for linguistics. This interest has inspired me to pursue graduate studies in linguistics in the U.K. Although jumping into a new environment will undoubtedly be challenging, I’m excited to embrace this next chapter of my life.As each of you embarks on your own new journey, I hope our journeys will cross again one day. When they do, I look forward to saying with a smile, “It’s been a while!” Until then, let’s continue working hard and moving forward.
