Price: Free Mt. Fuji Times Vol. 2 January 1, 2017 Hiking the Foot of Mt. Fuji ふ富じ士さん山ろく麓ハイキング On November 12th, 2016, Mt. Fuji Times held the 2nd hiking tour to Lake Sai, Fuji-Kawaguchiko Town. This time we went around sightseeing spots by cars. Total 22 participants included 14 international students, graduates and also a student from another college. Blessed with good weather, we enjoyed the views of Mt. Fuji under the autumn blue sky and beautiful red color leaves. さく昨ねん年、11がつ月12にち日、Mt. Fuji Timesはふ富じ士かわ河ぐち口こ湖まち町、さい西こ湖しゅう周へん辺のだい第2かい回えん遠そく足をじっ実し施しました。こん今かい回はかん観こう光ち地をくるま車でまわ回りました。さん参か加しゃ者はりゅう留がく学せい生14めい名のほか他、そつ卒ぎょう業せい生、た他だい大がく学からのがく学せい生、そう総ぜい勢22めい名となりました。とうじつ当日はおてん天き気にめぐ恵まれ、あき秋ぞら空には映えるふ富じ士さん山とうつく美しいこう紅よう葉をみ観ることができました。 Lake Sai Bat Cave is a large satellite cave which was formed by Mt. Fuji eruption and is over 350 meters in length. In this cave, a lot of bats used to spend winter in the past. Once those bats were almost endangered, however, thanks to the bats sanctuary, the number of the bats is gradually increasing. Currently, five species of bats are confirmed in this area. さい西こ湖コウモリあな穴はふ富じ士さん山のふん噴か火でできたよう溶がん岩どう洞くつ窟で、ぜん全ちょう長350メートルい以じょう上におよ及びます。かつてこのどう洞くつ窟をおお多くのコウモリがとう冬みん眠のためにり利よう用していました。いち一じ時はぜつ絶めつ滅のき危き機をむか迎えましたが、ほ保ご護く区いき域をもう設けたことでじょ徐じょ々にコウモリのかず数がふ増えるようになりました。げん現ざい在、さい西こ湖では、5しゅ種るい類のコウモリがかく確にん認されています。 On the way to the bat cave, we walked in Aokigahara Jukai (sea of trees). Most of the international students wonderingly observed trees in Jukai. And they enjoyed the tour of adventure because the bat cave was dark, narrow and very thrilling. またコウモリあな穴にい行くと途ちゅう中に、あお青き木がヶはら原じゅ樹かい海のなか中をある歩きました。りゅう留がく学せい生のおお多くは、じゅ樹かい海のき木ぎ々をふ不し思ぎ議そうにかん観さつ察していました。コウモリあな穴のなか中はくら暗く、せま狭いいば場しょ所もあり、スリリングなたん探けん検き気ぶん分でけん見がく学をたの楽しんでいました。 Lake Sai Bat Cave さい西こ湖コウモリあな穴 ACCESS: 30 minutes from Kawaguchiko Station, Fuji Kyuko Line.
