Price: Free Mt. Fuji TIMES vol.9 2019 2 We visited Arakurayama Sengen Park in Fujiyoshida City. This park is one of the best spots for viewing Mt. Fuji in the Fuji 5 Lakes area. In springtime cherry blossom, Mt. Fuji and the five-storied pagoda, iconic images of Japan, can be seen together. In fact this park’s fame has spread by means of social media and the number of tourists from overseas shot up in recent years. The nearest station is Shimoyoshida Sta. on Fujikyuko Line. わたし私たちはふ富じ士よし吉だ田し市のあら新くら倉やま山せん浅げん間こう公えん園にい行きました。このこう公えん園はふ富じ士ご五こ湖エリアでずい随いち一のふ富じ士さん山ビュースポットです。はる春になるとさくら桜、ふ富じ士さん山、ご五じゅうの重とう塔をいっ一しょ緒にみ見ることができます。こう公えん園のも最よ寄りえき駅はふ富じ士きゅう急こう行せん線のしも下よし吉だ田えき駅です。 After a 10 minute-walk, you will come to a torii (gateway at the entrance to a shrine). There is an open space at the top of the first flight of steps. Here you will find a tourist information center, a shrine and a shop selling omamori (good luck charm) and ema (wooden plaque to write your wish). There is a viewing platform further up where you can see the five-storied pagoda and Mt. Fuji together. Also you can get a view of the whole of Fujiyoshida City from here. Fuji Panoramadai is over the viewing platform. You can see Mt. Fuji from here as well. To get to the viewing platform, you need to go up either Sakuyahime Steps (398 steps) or the slope running parallel to it.
