Price: Free Mt. Fuji TIMES vol.9 2019 9 I went to Shiba-sakura Festival 2019. The highlight of the festival is a carpet of pink shibasakura (moss phlox). I think they bloomed beautifully and prettily. Eight hundred thousand shibasakura are planted in the venue. It is one of the metropolitan area’s biggest number. The festival is open for business from April 13th Sat. to May 26th Sun. this year. You can check the best time to see the flowers and their live video of the festival on their website. Please have a look at them before you go. In the festival, 8 kinds of shibasakura, ranging from deep pink Mcdaniel’s Cushion to white Mont-Blanc can be seen. 2019ねん年ふ富じ士しば芝ざくら桜まつりにしゅ取ざい材にい行きました。いち一ばん番のみ見どころは、いち一めん面にさ咲いているピンクのしば芝ざくら桜です。かい会じょう場にはしゅ首と都けん圏さい最だい大きゅう級の80まん万かぶ株のしば芝ざくら桜がう植わっていて、き綺れい麗にかわいいらしくさ咲いています。かい会じょう場ではこ濃いピンクのマックダニエルクッションからしろ白いモンブランまで、8しゅ種るい類のしば芝ざくら桜をみ見ることができます。 Also they have anemone, forsythia and other flowers. When you visit the festival, why don’t you climb up to a viewing platform and enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji and shibasakura? It is a popular spot for taking pictures. There are Panorama Footbath and Panorama Café in the venue as well. Fujisan-umaimono Festa, where delicious local food is served, is held in food and shopping area. Shibasakura Liner, the bus which runs between Kawaguchiko Sta. and Shiba-sakura Festival, is in service for the duration of the festival. It takes about 30 minutes.
